Mission Statement
The Service Awards Committee is responsible for selection and awarding of the prestigious Procter Medal Award named in honor of William Procter, Jr., regarded as the father of modern pharmacy. This award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions for the benefit of the public health and the progress of health professions in the pharmaceutical industry.
The Service Awards Committee is also responsible for the selection and awarding of the J. J. Hart - PDE Distinguished Service Award. This award is given in recognition of extraordinary contributions and service to the PDE.
